User rosebud81 in the Grey's Anatomy LiveJournal community posted info today about a Turkish version of "Grey's Anatomy," called "Doktorlar," over at http://community.livejournal.com/greysanatomy/699497.html. There's a blog at http://doktorlar-dizisi.blogspot.com and bunches of Doktorlar clips on YouTube.
It's fascinating to watch--for all the wrong reasons, of course. It does not matter if you don't know the language, because everything is pretty much the same, and beyond just the characters and plot--we're talking about the clothes, the hair and makeup, the camera angles.
I'm assuming this is being done with the blessing of (and financial considerations for) ShondaLand and ABC and Disney (!) and all other concerned production parties. Who knew; America's next great export: Grey's Anatomy!
[this is good] It not absolutely approaches me. Who else, what can prompt?
